I'll take you on in single .. if you beat me I'll reward you $50 .. thats more then what you can win in any Australian Badminton event :)

... heck I'll challenge any and all female players (A.. Open CDE ) to a single game ... beat me and get shopping money :D
and if you loose .. nothing ... cause I'm so sure I'll be able to beat any and all female players ... not including Sammy or any other MUBA players whom are just girly and not really female :p

haha, well vien, kudos. i think that it's certainly a way of stimulating keen inter-club rivalry, of which currently is clearly lacking.
i shall continue to be an independent body and not pledge affiliation to any club until i feel comfortable, welcome, supported, all in the one club.
until then, i continue to float around playing all over the place, so won't be able to take part in your 'challenge'.

Ok., I've informed our members of the challenge, now we need to work out the format. We can do this:

4 players from 4 different grades on each side.

6 x doubles: AB, AC, AD, BC, BD, CD

    Tie breaking mechanisms:

    (1) Total winning points
    (2) Point differential
    (3) A vs. A singles!

I'm leaning towards 4 pools of 4 players, with the 6 doubles format. Sunday, 30/Aug/2009 at MSAC sounds good. I will let you know the level of interest early next week.

I don't think trophies are necessary, we will be happy to just kick your butts. :D

Open? Our open players will be training for the AUG in the morning of Sunday, 30/Aug, so I don't think they will make it ... you wouldn't want your friends to be thrashed by the likes of Jeff Tho and Luke Chong, would you? :D

So, can we do this instead?

    Pool 1 - A
    Pool 2 - B
    Pool 3 - C
    Pool 4 - D

If you beat all our C grade players, you will have to enter B grade or higher for the MUBC tournament. :)

Jeff and Luke maybe OK in single, but in double as the challenge dictate .. they would be beat pretty easily .. even by me .. left handers arnt any good in this type of game setup :) .. this is because it takes time to get use to playing with a left handers.

What time are we meeting 2pm ? Book 4 courts from 2pm to 2:15pm .. recond we'll be able to beat you boys real quick :p

    * Well I'll be playing in the D grade .. so if i beat all your D grade players does that mean I'll have to play in C grade for the MUBC tournament :D

I've forward this to Jeff and Luke, their wraith will be upon you soon. :D

2pm should be fine, I will inform our members. If you are so confident about winning, how about we have a bet: if we play 21 point games starting from 0 all, and you beat us in 15 minutes, we will pay for everything, if you cannot do this, then you pay for everything. :)

..... let me think about it, and get back to you with a "NO"! :p

Well if you’re going to email them, you might as well mention that I said that …
Jeff plays like he belongs on the “junior girl’s jump smash team”, and the only reason he qualify for the Australian team is because mommy bank roles his entries in all those obscure tournament that no other quality player enters in just to get the international points :p
Tell Luke I said left handers are a waste of space and if he seriously wants to actually win a real international tournament he should learn to play right handed like normal people. :p
    And also add …
research studies made by scientist at the Australian Christen University have concluded that left handers are fatter, uglier, less intelligent and 87.6% more likely to sell their soul to Satan for a one night gay rendezvous with Carl Hinks.:D

…and finally tell them both even with all their trainings and effort, that a social badminton player like myself can randomly team up with any girl (eg. Keryn Valez :)) can comfortably beat them in doubles … and if they kneel down and beg and call me master sensei .. I might consider passing on some of my badminton knowledge onto them.:D

To be honest my motive was only to try and provoke Karyn Valez into having a game against me .. not sure how I got Patrick all worked up .. but a challenge is a challenge :)
