As long as there are some quality matches to watch I'm not too fussed who beats who. Just hope 1 of my 3 favourites wins :).

I think TH will meet LCW in quarter final, and probably meet Chen Jin in SF. TH will get opportunity for match revenge with him.

Before you post such comment, please at least read the previous posts... Because if you have done so, you would have realized TH won't be playing Chen Jin in SF since Chen Jin won't be playing in individual event.

Medan, (Analisa) - Tim unggulan PB Surya Naga Jatim gagal melaju ke semifinal Kejurnas Bulutangkis 2006, setelah mengakui keunggulan PB SGS Elektrik Jabar 1-3 di babak perempatfinal, Kamis (16/11) di Gedung Serba Guna Unimed.

Pada semifinal Jumat (17/11) siang ini mulai pukul 14.00 WIB, PB SGS Elektrik ditantang PB Jaya Raya Jakarta setelah mengalahkan PB Sinema Jabar 3-0.

Semifinalis lainnya yakni PB Tangkas Jakarta berhadapan dengan PB Djarum Kudus Jateng setelah mencatat kemenangan atas PB Mutiara Jabar 3-1.

Begitupun, penampilan para pemain PB Surya Naga Jatim patut dipuji terlebih saat andalannya Sony Dwi Kuncoro mampu mengalahkan pemain nomor satu Indonesia Taufik Hidayat dua set langsung 21-13, 21-19.

Namun pada tiga nomor lainnya yakni tunggal putri, ganda putra dan ganda putri, PB Surya Naga Jatim gagal memetik kemenangan atas PB SGS Elektrik Jabar.

Tunggal putri SGS Elektrik Stevani mencatat kemenangan atas Megawati straigh set 11-21, 22-10, 21-17, ganda campuran SGS Elektrik, Flandi Limpele/Lita Nurlita menundukkan Bambang S/Yuliana Tety 21-19, 21-17 dan ganda putri SGS Elektrik, Lita Nurlita/Devi Tika vs Yunita Tety/Lelyana 21-13, 21-19.

    PERINGATAN PBSI

    Translation

I translated only half of the article which I think important. Please don't laugh at my English.

    Warning to PBSI

Sony's win from Taufik Hidayat has proved that PBSI needs to start watching youngsters to subtitute Taufik, whose performance has been declining.

Sony was glad that he able to beat Taufik in this National Championship. He said, "I have also beaten him before in Palembang in 2004"

He said that his performance in the championship was fairly good. The support from 70% of audience was helping him played well. He stated, "I see audience in the stadium keep giving me support, it makes me play well".

Asked about his preparedness for Asian Games, he said that he only ranked three behind Taufik and Simon so he wasn't sure if he would play in single event or team event.

Meanwhile, Taufik admitted Sony's performance was good. "This is sport. It is a game that sometimes we win and lose. When we win, we are praised. When we lose we are isolated" said Taufik.

He hoped his lost from Sony will make Indonesians (Fans, added by me) not to always want him to be the Champion. He also added that he is not aiming to defend his Asian Games Champion title in Qatar.

Taufik's fans can cry now ... ha ha ha

WHAT the....? i thot his reasons for losing 06 WC, HKO, KO and CO was that he is concentrating on winning the asian game. 'It come every 4 years so it has more meaning to win at doha' was taufik's escape line. Then again, this doesn't surprise me at all.

'TH didn't targeting to defend his prestige in Doha', Is this his signal to retire soon? Hmmm, his character is always unpredictable so we can't strongly believe what he said at Kejurnas occasion which contrary with his previous statement. Really confusing...

    Taufik the "mind trickster"??..

...hehe, glad you guys have come into some realization that his words can't never be taken "seriously" 100%...I learned that "the uneasy way" after last yr's WC, after he said "His next goal after the 2005 WC is the 2006 AE" and look at what happened afterwards..But then again, yah, we'll never know what "mood" will Taufik have in the next 2 weeks or so..hehe:rolleyes::( :p :D ;)
