    My predictions...

In the order of matches to be played:

    MIXED DOUBLES
Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam vs Lee Yong Dae/Hwang Yu Mi (MATCH OF THE DAY) -- the Thais were impressive in their straight-set victory over Lee Jae Jin/Lee Hyo Jung. They are up against the Korea no 2 pair of Lee/Hwang. This new pairing has proven to be pretty lethal so far, with victories over Zhang Jun/Gao Ling and Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl. I think it's gonna go to 3 sets. With the backing of the home crowd, Sudket/Saralee should win their second title of the year!

    MEN'S SINGLES
Chen Yu vs Chen Jin -- battle of the Chens yet again in tomorrow's final. Chen Yu has had a good week so far, beating LCW, Boonsak Ponsana and Chen Hong en-route to the final. However, I think Chen Jin will win the title!

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
Zhu Lin vs Hwang Hye Youn -- Although Hwang has beaten Xie Xingfang and Yao Jie this week, I still think the Chinese player has the slight edge.

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Saralee Thoungthongkam/Sathinee Jankrajangwong vs Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung -- Saralee is in contention for two golds. However, Lee/Lee should be too powerful for her and Sathinee.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Lee Jae Jin/Hwang Ji Man vs Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae -- an all-Korean Final as I predicted yesterday. Jung/Lee to win their second title of the year! Their world ranking will rise to no 5 regardless of whether they win tomorrow!

since when does taufik perform? hehe:p coming from the last couple of months I'd say kenneth jonassen should be higher. and taufik lower. Chen Hong isn't really thundering down on his opponents lately as well:rolleyes:

But I must confess 1 out 4 tournaments slip past me...

    I agree mostly, except #5 - #9.

Actually your ranking from #5 - #9 reflects what I said early in this forum. I predicted Chen Yu would come out, while Bao CL will lost ground. Nobody agreed that Chen Yu the #5 best in the world before Thai open. Most people may still disagree Chen Yu as high as #5, including me, who is the only guy, and also the earliest guy here predicted Chen Yu's potential this time.

In my humble opinion, here is my list:

    1. Lin Dan
    2. Lee Chong Wei
    3. Chen Jin
    5. Taufik Hidayat - the one LD and his teammates so eager to win!
    4. Peter Gade
    6. Chen Hong - currently IBF 4th, 6* title holder, only 3nd to LD & CJ
    7. Bao Cunlai - at least three 6* runner ups, really a runner up expert
    8. Lee Hyun Il - only one 4* runner up, even Hafiz has a 4* title
    9. Chen Yu - with great potential, but still no chance to WC! not much chance in the future either
    10. Kenneth Jonassen
    11. Hafiz - got a 4* title by killing only his elder brother
    12. Bonsak
