    Yup, on the women's category, I am supporting Bouchard too, after my favourite, Li Na retired.

    Actually something special for you here.

    China open badminton page in English (wikipedia) gives details only uptil 1991, when there is only one non-chinese player that is winner.

    But the same page in Chinese goes back further till 1986, gives the same details on all winners except for year 1994 when it shows a korean as the winner. But nevertheless, both agree that there has never been in recorded history that china hasn't had a representative in finals. Also, they have overall lost the title only once (or twice) since 1986. That is big!

    ^ Yup, he lost 1-6; 6-3; 0-6 but he is the first one to take a set off NJ in this tournament.
