    Hi guys,

    On behalf of Mr. Huangkwokhau, I would like to confirm that the gathering will happen at:

    Pondok Laguna Restaurant
    East Parking Lot Gelora Bung Karno
    Just directly in front of the Istora Senayan Building.
    Next to the ticketing counter.

    We will meet at May 16th, 4 P.M. inside the resto, just mention "the badminton group."

    Loh took some photos... :) We just got out of Pondok Laguna 30 minutes ago. The 4pm arrangement was cancelled because CHN-MAS: 2-2 at that time... :p

    We eventually met up after the devastating 0-3 INA loss... :crying: I actually could not eat well... :crying: The last Thomas Cup victory I witnessed live was the 1996 edition in Hong Kong. These last few years, INA keep making me cry... :crying:

    Most BCers were Malaysian... maybe they were not in a jolly mood either... but they got a few hours to digest their situation... Hau-ge and I were actually still shell-shocked... :crying: We can't handle this blow to our ego... :p

    Luckily, I was not there :eek:

    I had McDonalds in sorrowful mood too right after Kido/Hendra lost. Couldn't bother to watch Taufik losing. Only knew the result when my fiancee smsed me abt the result. She was so dejected too :eek::mad:

    We can basically forget abt Taufik coming back to form before the Olympics :cool:

    What's more important is for Kido/Hendra and Nova/Butet to win the Olympic Golds in Beijing! Kido admitted in Kompas after the match that they lacked power, while their defense was weaker compared to the Koreans. It's time to pump those muscles and I hope Jason is still there to help our guys achieve their goals.

    Don't forget about Luluk-Alven and Flandy-Vita... ;) I met both Luluk and Alven this week... They are surprisingly in very high spirits. Very looking forward to proving themselves in the Olympics. As they are from Java, Alven said, "Kita untung koq. Dapat waktu latihan extra untuk Olympic" [we are actually lucky. We have more extra time to train for the Olympics] "Orang Jawa kan untung terus, ha ha ha" [We Javanese are always "lucky", right? Ha ha] :D
