Haha, yeah, i kno this is a very old post, anyway, the hall near my house in SS21 has 3 courts, every weekday evening it's either empty or only 1 court in use. Weekends normally have 1 court free and maybe have a wedding or 2 though. Not sure about price cuz never found anyone to go there to play with.

What court is that? Only courts near me that have 3 courts (that I know of) is SK Taman SEA and TTDI. SJK Yuk Chai has 4 I believe, DU court has 3 or 4. But now I mostly play at SK Taman SEA because my coach let us play there free..:p

That's rather far.. besides I think you don't know this but I'm only 13 years old. ;) My parents would never allow me to play with internet people.. sorry.

What does seriously mean? I represent my school.. I train twice a week. Is that serious?

I think you misread that thread, she wasn't going to play with them, she just wanted to know where the hall was so she could check where it was in her own time. As for her being 13, well she's been claiming to be around that age (allowing for a birthday) as long as she's been here and I believe her.

Read posts carefully before jumping to conclusions.

No problem :) But I don't see that post around.. besides the quote.

Tomorrow I'll be going for the Badminton Clinic held by Help Institute in Megah. Found out about it today, got the form and am going tomorrow. Yes, very last minute:rolleyes: Hehe.

Well, if it's the same thing with last year, they'll just be teaching us the basics. Then again, last year I was late for it as the prefect teacher didn't let me out of the Prefect Anual General Meeting. I remember how mad I was by the time it was over. Lol!

Last year I remember there were so few girls so a coach grouped us all together and started teaching us footwork. Most of the girls didn't even know how to serve properly you see, they didn't train before. I remembered how amazed he was when he saw my friend and I could actually DO the footwork!

Anyway, that gives me something to look forward to. Hopefully I'll enjoy myself, hoping to get some free time to play. Mr. Ong actually asked my friend and I to attend one of his group lessons tomorrow but as this Badminton Clinic is once a year.. and we got a free T-Shirt last year :D(Kiasu? YES).

since you are discussing this badminton clinic, I might as well post the link here. The HELP institute will be going to various states for the clinic. I'm not sure whether this is the appropriate place for posting this. Anyway...here it is:

You asked too late wubuseah. Yes, I believe it was possible. Just take a form, fill it up hand it up and join the clinic.

The clinic was pretty much as I expected.. just like a normal coaching lesson in Megah. At least my coach remembered I used to train there and put me in the more.. 'advance' group? I invited a friend and he's quite good, but they don't know him so he got put in the group where they just taught you lobbing and net. Hehe. Wanted to go for Mr. Ong's group training after that but my friend didn't want to..:( Oh well. And they didn't give a free shirt!

One negative thing about Megah is that the lights are too low.. lost many good shuttles due to that.

They spoke English there, but I believe if you asked the coaches to speak to you in Malay they would. Malay kids there? Pasti ada ;). At least in that clinic only. What info do you want? About..? The Clinic? That was ancient history.. Hehe. Looking forward to the Badminton Tournament coming up now.
