Sony Dwi Kuncoro will face Kenneth Jonasson in the semis. Who will win? Vard to say in the match.

Yes, hard to predict. Kenneth is consistent, but Sony is innovative and powerful. 50 - 50.

Choon Hann vs Hyun Il is also difficult to predict. Both are in good form now, but I feel maybe Hyun Il has a slight edge. I hope I am wrong though.

Wong CH should win the taipei open. If he lost to Lee HI, life would be too unfair to him. Lee HI beat nobody, while Wong convincely defeated Polsana, Gade, Taufik. All these guys could win the title. Wong CH is really good, sometimes, he just ran out of luck.

I would like to see Wong beat Jonassen in the final. Jonassen worked so hard, and has not found a chance to show himself, so he deserves a place in the final. Sony's already got Asian title. It is still too early for him to shine on the international tournaments. He will earn his experience in how to fight Europeans.

well, here are more observation from the results.

Jonas/Lars bt. Laybourn+partner.... another bad draw Thomas. but i think you guys are improving!

XD : looks like Koreans will rule this time.

MD : Flandi and Eng Hian beat Candra and Halim! i can see Sigit giggling at the back already.

WS : Wang Chen vs Mia / Pi vs. Jun - who am i to support? i think i will root for Wang. but Pi vs. Jun ? hard to say.

I just feel that Candra and Halim are not as strong as Candra and Sigit and don't make a impact as Candra and Sigit. Halim seems less consistent nowadays and sometimes he seem out of it and not motivated. Also they are not as entertaining to watch. I just like Sigit in the front and Candra at the back more than Candra at the front n Halim in the back.

Totally agree with smashing bird. Candra and Sigit sounds so right together. They should patch up and regain their place among the top pairs.

I also hope Choong Hann will take this title. He has come a long way beating all those tough opponents, lets hope luck will remain on his side.

I hope Wong CH will win also. Well i'm sure Changra And Sigit sounds right together. But their coaches think otherwise.. they know them better than us.

Looks like Choong Hann has beaten Hyun Il in 2 sets: 15 - 6, 15 - 11. Can someone confirm this?
