Disagree with this word used to explain our Malaysian forum members except only a few.

Yes, they are goom for 2012, but it seems like they are falling behine compared to CPS/GLY not to compare them with some new INA XD pairs..........they are even far behine....

TWK better concentrate in his MD with MHC.

Maybe because he is training more with TKH in MD that his XD is left behind. Now that they have lost, I agree that he should give his best against Cho/Kwon today, because the Koreans are gonna be a real big test for them.

I understand what you mean now. Unfortunately, I don't think that you made it clear that there was a difference.

Gun Woo CHO / Yi Goo KWON (KOR) beat Hee Chun MAK / Wee Kiong TAN (MAS): 21-10 21-12 (27min)

I thought this back-up pair is the most promising and talented under coach Tan Kim Her?

Top two back-up pairs fall at the first hurdle in Taiwan

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s top two back-up pairs – Mak Hee Chun-Tan Wee Kiong and Goh Wei Shem-Teo Kok Siang – failed to make an impression in the Taiwan Open after losing in the opening round yesterday.

There were high hopes on national coach Tan Kim Her’s charges to achieve a breakthrough in Taipeh but the two pairs lost to seeded players.

Hee Chun-Wee Kiong went down tamely to South Korean second seeds Cho Gun-woo-Kwon Yi-goo 21-10, 21-12.

It was in contrast to their good performances in the last two tournaments. They defeated compatriots Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong in the Kedah Open and did well in the last week’s Macau Open when they beat Thailand’s top pair of A. Songphon-Sudket Prapakamol in the first round.

It was also the end of road for Wei Shem-Kok Siang when they went down to seventh seeds Hiroyuki Endo-Kenichi Hayakawa of Japan 13-21, 21-17, 16-21.

Not to degrade them, but when they won AJC/WJC when junior time, i thought they are groomed for Beijing Olympic??
If true, groom again for 2012??

Fernando/Wifqi from Indonesia seem more impressive, they are going to take the first game from Cho/Kwon.

Not looking bright for a title with the exception of the MD department. Even then, not a big chance either.
MS, we have Yoyo Hafiz Hashim, Chong Wei Feng and Chan Kwong Beng left. Oh yes, and Uncle Wong too.
By the end of today, we will only have the winner between Yoyo and Chong Wei Feng for tomorrow. And perhaps Uncle Wong if he can repeat his win over Shon Wan Ho in the Indonesian Open .
    MD, we have KKK/TBH.
    WD, we have CEH/WPT.
    XD all mati!
