This tournament, if continued in future, is a great thing for Indian Badminton. Most junior players or lesser ranked players don't get chance to play in good tournaments or good players. This tournament helped project RMV Gurusaidutt, Aditi, PV Sindhu etc. amongst media and people. They may expect some backing from the corporates now. Hope with money coming in, the quality of badminton increases too. BTW, in final, I hope for atleast three titles for India. And, I will sure start following Fauzi's matches in future.
MS FINAL Chetan Anand [1] vs Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka [5] - a tough match for Hayom and I will be more convinced of his potential if he can win his second GP title by beating the more experienced IND player. MD FINAL Akdhay Dewalkar/Jishnu Sanyal [1] vs Adnan Fauzi/Tri Kusumawardana - I am not sure how this one will go as the IND pair is also unknown at the moment. Adnan/Tri to win! WD FINAL Nadya Melati/Devi Tika Permatasari vs Misaki Matsumoto/Akaya Takahashi [3] - a tough match for Nadya/Devi and I hope they win their first title!

I went to the tournament to watch Saina's game and it was sheer pleasure. The notable thing there was that matches on court 2 were having video coverage, still we don't see any telecast of any of the matches. If someone has access to those videos then please share.
Fauzi Adnan is one of the best player in Indonesia currently. He is currently ranked 6th in Indonesia under Taufik, sony, Simon, Hayom and Andre Kurniawan. He also have won 4 national circuits titles already this year. If there is no Hayom and Alamsyah in National Circuit, the titles will surely go for Fauzi or Budi santoso. In 2006, I still remembered that many people hoping him to be a world class player followed his club mate in Suryanaga GG, Sony Dwi Kuncoro. Tabloid BOLA (the biggest sport magazine in Indonesia) also made an exclusive profile and interview with him at that year. Everything went bad after that for him. He had to left national camp and back to his club. In 2009, He is shining again. With some titles in hand and better mentallity but still always lost to Hayom and Alamsyah. with his style, probably, now, he is better than Tommy Sugiarto and surely better than Nugroho and Yoga Pratama. I think, if he plays like today, and make his mentallity stronger, he deserve to join national camp again..
