The spirit of Naraoka is with NO this match. And by "spirit of Naraoka" I mean the bloody excessive time-wasting.

He sounds british but he looks Indian so he could be an Indian Origin Malaysian like Thinah.

Didn't expect Malaysian MD to take it - they've been on fire all tournament (helped with Koga making so many errors in G3). Was never impressed by either CHJ or Haikal prior to this but they've shown that they really have the firepower if they get their game going. Haikal needs to be more consistent, when he cannot get control of the net (e.g. in the Indonesia S100 final which they lost) the pair cannot get their game going at all. Both also need to reduce their unforced errors.

    Congratulations to them!

Who are these MAS pair? They are ranked maybe 8 or 9 in MAS yet can beat 2nd ranked Japanese pair?? Malaysia has many quality MD players

CHJ was decent he won a lot of IC title with TEW, but I don't know why the coaches split them. I still felt like he could have become a top player with TEW, Im not that convinced with CTJ as her partner. But its a decent performance with Haikal too considering most of the senior Malaysian pairs can't even beat this Japanese pair.

This brings us to an end of my home tournament BWF Syed Modi India S300

First of all I thank all of you for joining me virtually all this week. This week was as amazing as it has always been for me during the Syed Modi S300 every year and even though Im a little sad because for a week it had become my habit to drive to the Stadium for matches and now it has come to an end:( but what keeps me happy is knowing that next year I will again visit the BBD stadium and cheer for some amazing Badminton players and witness some great badminton action.:)

I once again wanna congratulate all the Medalists but personally my fav Nozomi Okuhara for winning my home tittle given she was looking forward to a tittle for so many years now and finally she did it and that tittle had to be my home tittle of Syed Modi S300 which makes it more special for me:) and not just the Gold medal and prize money but she is also taking with her the winning shuttle back with her as a present which is soo warming to see...Her victory has just put a special shine to Syed Modi S300 which I cant express in words.

Last but not the least I do wanna thank all my fellow citizens who were there in large numbers today in the finals despite there being no Indian players except for the last match in WD yet I could hear them scream and roar for all the players and once again my home crowd has shown what true respectful badminton fans are like:)

    Once again thank you everyone
Namaste from Lucknow and see you guys in
    WTF !!:)
