Surprises, surprises.....

    Since the beginning of the competition,we have seen several surprises with the results. Chen Long, Cheng/Chien, Songphon/Kunchala, Eriko Hirose, Sudket/Saralee,......

    How can we explain that?
    Is the general level higher than in the past?
    The seeded pairs are not as well prepared as they should be? Did they take their opponent not too serious enough?
    I think that i heard Morten Frost, aka "Mr Badminton", saying that the hall is slow. Is that a point for less strong players who can follow the rythm?

    I'd like to have your delighted point of view.

    and also Taufik Hidayat, he just said "i dont know why" when someone asked what exactly happened.

    Don't care too much about the surprises...........just give me a classic LCW vs LD final showdown.!!:D

    You must also consider the opposite viewpoint, their opponents. Example, Spain's Carolina Marin is playing extremely well,

    Of course i know that but i found that there were a lot of surprise in this tournament particularly. To see a match like Abian against Cordon in R16 is very astonishing.

    but if i'm alone to think so, nevermind...
