Quick review of 1st game. LCW is definitely not at his best missed several key opportunities to pull ahead. He's pretty frustrated right now with himself. CL on the other hand is on fire with his defense. He's keeping himself calm and composed so he's made very few errors. He also is making the best of the attacking opportunities he's getting.

LCW should keep the shuttle down and not lift to CL. He couldn't retrive most of CL's smashes.

By looking at how CL & LCW walks, it is quite clear that CL is more confident than LCW..

Even though I am a big supporter of LCW but I am not sure he has what it takes to win the big one. When facing top players from China who can match his speed and stamina, Chong Wei is at the dis-advantage since he doesn't have a big smashes like Lin Dan and Chen Long unless Chong wei can play error free thru out the whole match(which he has yet to proof he can).
Lots of homework for our hero ...

gillian clark no longer sound enthusiastic in her commentary eventhough it is such a great display of badminton - she's definitely anti-chen long.
