Intermediate advanced doubles, used to play w/ head-heavy rackets. Now playin w/ Carbonex 20 Power n loved it. However, would like to buy a replacement and keep Cab20 Power for collection. Condition is still 98% n and love the racket. Tried iso heads even balance n have difficulties adjusting. Any suggestions, specs should be around; 2U-3U, BP 290+, Balanced or a little head heavy OVAL head, older solid racket NON_YONEX, budget reason Any suggestions?
SOTX STB-8080 .. super qaulity woven material, cheap as dirt on websites that still have it.. http://www.yumaoclub.com/shop/cpjs/jx_sotx_8080+.htm for example..
The 8080+ would probably be looked at with derision by high standard players. It's old and plain-looking. It doesn't feel substantial. But in the right hands it is capable of good power whilst being mobile. A great bargain doubles oval racket for intermediate. http://www.puppysports.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=browse&id=78959&pageid=111&pfrom=4
it will be hard to find a replacement for the cab20power (aka cab22). it is a very unique racket with oval frame, regular length, heavy and especially very very stiff. you can find something that matches the first 3, but not the last property. i have 5 of them. but sorry not for sale.
Thread should be closed. Already bought an old Top Pro Carbon 800, slightly head heavy+stiff shaft. Only $22 on clearance. Thanks everybody
