It was another amazing comeback from Maria Kristin Yulianti as she wins it in 3 games: 18-21, 21-11, 21-19! 2-0 to INA. Still, I think it's safer to field Adriyanti Firdasari tomorrow.

Sony Dwi Kuncoro should wrap it up for INA in the next match!

Agree, Firda is more prepared. Let Maria rest a day before the match against China...

As expected, MAS levels it 1-1 too. The next match will be very crucial: Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong vs Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae. The first titanic match of the day! A win for KOR will more or less seal the tie for them, whereas, if MAS wins this one, WS should be the decider match!

    Could go either way..

..Maria should've and could've wrapped it up in 2 games (she should've wrapped up the 1st game but her errors cost her the game)..On the other hand, Sayaka should've and could've wrapped up the 3rd game..IMO, Maria escaped this one..

Maria, living at the edge. she was trailing so much in the 3rd, game (12-17) that people starts to wonder if she pull it back. but she did, taking 9 points vs. Sato's 2 pts.

one has to wonder if Maria really had the calculations in her mind how much she has grinded Sato physically and mentally to achieve that feat. Sato was noticably more tired at the end and while she worked as hard as she did, Maria was mostly lucid on how each rally is playing out.

Well, she will get a 3 days rest before INA plays CHN on Thursday. Fielding Maria against CHN should be the reasonable strategy.

Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Kenichi Tago. As a biased INA fan, I bet my money on Sony :p
