Expected lah, as least for me, I agak liao we lose 2-3, we win singles, Korea win doubles. I supposed BCers wouldnt be so frustrated if it was Fairuz/NHL playing XD. Then can see better fight in MD. WD, well, WPT/CEH never beat LKW/LHJ before i think.
So, Rexy was banking on XD to win, from scoreline, they almost did.

It doesn't look good for Nova/Butet as they once again trail 4-7 in the decider set.

Nova/Butet still trail 10-11 at the interval.

ugh...never think XD game would be this tough...
Ikeda/Shiota did really good to hold Nova/Butet, plus more error from INA pair...
    NW/LN 11-14 SI/RS, 3rd game...

Looking at this game, Maria's come from behind victory is even more important. Had she lost, Nova/Lily would really have a lot of pressure. Even without pressure, they are trailing ........

Typical Nova/Butet eh when facing scratch pair, eg: Flandy/Russkikh. I feel that this game will be similar to that, ending with the INA pair being beaten.

I think the main reason for putting WPT in XD could be CEH is not fully recover from injury or is not in tournament form(base on her lack luster performance vs Korea). This WD pair is not the same one that won the Super Series Final, not even close in strengh and health. I think the Malaysian coaching staff knew it hence forced the changes. Even if KKK is not tired, will the MD win? These changes are still logical except didn't quite work out.
Team Denmark should be relief to see the true strength of our WD.

Exactly...if Maria had lost that one, it will be unthinkable for INA to lose this one to JPN. Makes u really wonder that Maria's point was so crucial just now!!

Phew, eventually Nova Widianto/Liliyana Natsir beat Shintaro Ikeda/Reiko Shiota in 3 hard fought sets 16-21, 21-14, 21-18.

Final Score: INA 4 JPN 1, but not without some scares, especially in the WS and XD matches.

Up next will be ENG tomorrow. INA should beat them either 3-2 or 4-1. INA needs to take MS, WS, and WD. XD and MD are the pts that INA can lose.

Yup, yup, logic also. I reckon Rexy was banking on XD to steal a point. From scoreline, can see they fight very hard in XD - I also surprise KKK/WPT can force duece from LYD/LHJ in 2 of the 3 sets.
MD was 50-50, would have been better fight if KKK not too tired & TBH not dreaming.
WD, errr, Head to Head- Msia lost all 6 out of 6

    Why

    First time is always nervous.

    Hi all,,

Indonesia has won after WS. Why cant they send the younger players to play the last two matches (WD and XD) they have nothing to lose.... so that they have the pride and motivation...
