"Stop-drop" term instead of drop-shot

    AFAIK, stop-drop term was first used on Watanabe for the efficient way he moves into position, pops up and does a vicious sliced drop shot.. all in 1 smooth motion.

    But now, it seems some commentators are using the term loosely to refer to a normal drop shot played (latest eg. Brit fella calling the Thai Masters finals).

    Irritating me to no end, in the process. Your thoughts? Or am I just a prickly old fool, who needs to chill? ;)
