True, i guess when one put the word "fishy" after Malaysia lost, then being Malaysian one will be singled out as sore loser or sour grape. As i said before, while the issue of malaysian fans bing sore losers may or may not be true depending on ones point of view, i dont think the individual in question should be called sour grapes or what not.

Yes, CHN team has a 'pao mu' (nanny) whose job is to hand out the cold towels to help cool down and minimise the excessive heat build up in CHN players because it can get pretty hot in the stadium. This helps CHN players to maintain their physical condition especially when the matches drag on.
CHN has always been very thorough about non-badminton factors that can help give their players an edge.CHN's time-wasting delay tactics is disgusting but this 'cold towel' care is an excellent idea I absolutely support.(It's common in tennis tournaments like Australian Open)
If CHN took the trouble to help properly freshen up their players(with just a little effort) during intervals and other teams don't, then it's smart of CHN and too bad for the rest.Nowadays, big wins can be decided by attention to tiny details.

No kidding ? I did not see that. Perhaps the Malaysian team should have a masseur to soothe aching muscles during the break.

this is simply part of tactics permitted within the badminton law.
and who knows is really time-wasting? u r not the one fighting on the court.

absolute disgust is the way Korea purposely lose in earlier rounds juz to get into final. even thou they did achieve the aim, but it cost them their sportsmanship n integrity.

The towels were probably placed with ice or something to keep them cool.

Doesn't work. There was this dude actually praying during the Uber Cup matching between IND and CHN, on the sidelines. Publicly.

I asked, apparently that's Indonesia Minister of Youth & Sports, he was saying a Muslim prayer. Look in UBer FInals thread. The Indonesia BCer said (jokingly) cos he prayed, Indonesia lost faster, apparently cos this Sports Minister doesnt support badminton much.

Let me put it this way ... if all these bomoh or witchcraft business is for real, then Malaysia just need to maybe sacrifice a goat or something before each tournament and the Olympic gold, TC, WC and all will be in the trophy cabinet in no time.

being 0-14 down in the 3rd set and winning it 17-14 in the end sure is unusual.
