I see, there are still people taking digs at Lin Dan. Well, it's easy and cheap thrills for those who dislike or hated him to hide behind their cloak of anonymity to do, the ugly side of human nature. Ask this guy to tell the organizer that as it's them who are happy to have Lin Dan playing and even used his picture on the publicity poster to sell tickets. Good riddance to a celebrity who help you draw the crowds ?
Han Yue still has to fine-tune when and where to place her smashes, for maximum effect and not let it come back with interest
I don't know man. He's either injured and playing in denial or he's lost his touch. Two back to back first round exits in both categories (walkover win is not counted) is not an anomaly. As a fan, I'm disappointed.
You have a comprehension problem and I can't help you there. There was no justification. The organisers have a pretty good system and I'm proud of it. If you can analyse the schedule, you will realise they allocate matches for courts 1 and 2 in the early part of the day. After that, all the four courts are used according to queue scheduling because no one can tell which matches are going overtime. That way, no court is left empty and we can finish the day s matches close to schedule. Have you been to tournaments where they finish 2 or 3 hours behind schedule? Have you been to both badminton and tennis tournaments courtside? In badminton, all matches are played in one hall, so you can watch all the matches simultaneously. In tennis grand slams, the centre or show courts require a separate ticket. If you can't understand this clarification, you may have a specific analytical disability.
Oh please. Not only I analised the schedule, I scrutinized it. To be honest the court 1 and 2 allocation in the early part of the day also showed how little the organiser know about badminton. Can't they allocate WR1s or potential great match ups on court 1 and the rest to fight for the other courts? That way there would be no courts left empty, tournament finishes as schedule and 80% of badminton population is happy. If any player ever complained why WR1s or GOATs or Former no.1s get to be on court 1 and they didn't, well, I am afraid they might need to reconsider changing their career.
