as much as i like lindan but i do agree that chinese dominance makes the game boring.
so i hope to see more non-chinese players

Wow. Sometimes it's almost unfair that there has to be a winner in each match.

Still, like I said before about JR/Lars: the WC is over a month away.
If Taufik's peaking now he's done something wrong in preparation! :D :p

Woooooooowwww! 96 mins, 2 sets, gade and taufik

wow, that must have been really good, people who watched are so lucky, i had to stuck with only live score (well, still good tho, since i didnt know that there was live score), oh, it must have been good!:D

anyway, what gao/huang did to danish pair was 'astonishing' i never knew that something like that could happen between world top 5 pairs:eek:
anyway mag, how is that unfair?

As per IBF record, he was ranking-1 for man single during 19 to 26 Feb 2004 before Lindan took over.

Well, matches like that (Taufik/Gade) is as close as you can get to a "draw" in badminton. ;) But, of course, one player has to win. And that match wasn't broadcasted -- it just makes me soooo frustrated knowing that I won't get to see it...

Regarding the WD whitewash: Gao/Huang did NOT meet a world top 5 pair, mind you. Mette/Brita is a new constellation formed after Rikke Olsen quit playing internationally recently. This was their first tournament together. Still, 0 and 0 is pretty heavy... It's a result that's *very* rare, especially in doubles. I guess it shows how few mistakes Gao/Huang make.

how come they were seeded 5 then? was it due to mette's XD ranking?

I'm happy to see that Boe/Mogensen are producing quality badminton at the moment. They just whacked Luluk/Yulianto 15-9, 15-6! Perhaps it's *finally* time for Carsten Mogensen to climb the podium in a big event? ;)

And Lee Hyun Il is a class player. I don't see why everybody is so surprised about his wins?
