I see. However, isn't the MID will be heavier than low? If that's the case, I would rather give up certain degree of ankle support but prefer the lighter weight.

The low certainly does feel lighter. The Low version would be suitable for you if you like it light.

Westbeach : I think the yellow one is already selling. But currently its only available in Japan.

i have the 92/98 mid, and the 89, the 92/98 feels much lighter then the 89 for some reason, also the 92/98 protects my ankle better, however the 98mid has a tighter feel as if it hugs your feet more.

when i first got the the 92 mid, it gave me cramps and that it is not very durable, also i heard that yonex recall the 92 mid because of its durability problem.

does anybody find that yonex sole or cushion insert is not very durable, mine was all torn up after 1 months of use, and i only use it 4 times a month.

Ofcouse the mid vesion hugs your feet tighter, because you feel something hugs your ankle.

Right now I still use my 92ex-low which I bought in July 2002 (20 months ago).
The sole and cushion inside are still in a goed condition, just a little bit durty. :D

By the way, I wear this shoe for 3 times a week playing : Monday 3 hours, Thursday 3 hours and Saturday 2-3 hours.
Beside that I also wear this shoe for giving training 3 times a week : Friday 2 hours, Saturday 2 hours and Sunday 3 hour.

So...... I find that Yonex shoe (92ex) is the beter one. ;)
