i totally agree with u...
a new player will definetly freak out in his 1st match in thomas cup, furthermore he had all the burden bcus of the tight match...so really have 2 give a plus point for him n not blaming him!!!
maa2003 said:That's the 2nd-time, first in 1986 during Thomas Cup versus China.
China win 3-2, after Liem Swie King and his partner (2nd men-double) failed to secure the score (Yang Yang beat Icuk Sugiarto, INA won the 2nd Single, China won 3rd Single, INA won the 1st double, so the score was tied 2 - 2)
During that time, in 3rd single, Liem Swie King made history by rejecting setting the games twice, so the games finish 15-14 and 15-14 for China opponent (forget the name) ---- please correct me if I'm wrong.
But INA won the Thomas Cup in 2002 at Guangzhou, China.
China won in INA (1986 and 2004) and INA won in China (2002).

Not like to see some insane Indonesian fan in the stadium.
Opzzzz.... sorry, I dun mean that.... but this is only my own opinion.

If he wants a future, he should do some mental toughness training.... or maybe change coach.![]()

alloh said:Hehhehe... ya soccer as well.
I still remember the soccer match between INA vs MAS last year, the INA fans kept throwing mineral bottles to MAS players when MAS leading.
Hope that is not to show you love your country![]()

alloh said:Yes, INA won 4-1 in Malaysia for the 2nd match.
But the 1st match MAS won 2-1 in Indonesia.
It is dangerous if you winning / leading INA team in Indonesia, the INA fans will attack you.![]()

Still can't believe what happened during that time. INA scored 4 goals in the second half.
I think a lot of players fear playing in Jakarta except Denmark. As for Malaysia, the only single player to win the Indonesian Open is Yong Hock Kim, way back in the 90's (I think 1999).
Peter5124 said:Yeah...hopefully malaysian coaches will do something to bring up some talented players by exposing them to int. tournaments. I was so sad seeing Malaysian player fell in the semi. Lets keep LiYongBo mouth shut. He's too arrogant sometimes. Malaysia did have a good chance advancing to final if WCH didnt injured. malaysia might dont even have to play 3rd single. Lets break the Great Wall.
