Got a new acquisition recently and noticed it didnt share any grommets.. and thought next to offset grommets at the top which some rackets have, this was the next big thing... ( well, there were those rackets where the string wrapped around the frame which i thought was very cool... but never caught on cos LCW/LD didnt endorse it.. lol). some googling reveals there have been rackets with the extra 4 holes.. but its never caught on as mainstream... does YY have to come debut it with pomp and splendor for it to go mainstream? or is there a solid reason as to why the 4 extra holes havent caught on? appreciate the replies. regards.
The only people who care are stringers, and stringers don't buy rackets for the players they string for. Additional holes means more costs, and additional chance of breakage (due to a weaker frame).
