    Hello everyone!

The MX80 (original) is a racket I keep coming back to. I am mainly a doubles player but also play singles. The main characteristics of the racket that I would want in another racket is:
    • Very stiff
    • Slightly head-heavy
    • Solid feeling
Rackets that I have recently used are the:
    • Nanoflare 800 (current)
    • Astrox 88s
I'm open to any Yonex/Victor recommendations.

    Thanks!

Sounds like an Auraspeed 90k to me

I tried the auraspeed 90k but personally found it very sluggish and not as fast as the MX80

I was going to suggest something like Thruster Ryuga but if you find Auraspeed 90k sluggish then I think only a Bravesword will be fast enough.

I dont remember MX80 being that fast but its been a long time since I used it.

Maybe the drivex series. They're slightly head heavy and quite stiff

Highly recommend Gosen Inferno Raid. This is my current go to. Whereas in the past I used to use 4U MX80.

    Fast, powerful, direct, explosive

The racket is listed as 8/10 head heavy? Is that true

Nah, mine are just a tad less head heavy than the Arc 11 Pro which is already only slightly head heavy /balanced.

    Hello !

My Skill is Beginner, but I have played with several rackets.
Having used MX80 3U in the past, though not entirely similar, I find MX90 3U & VTZF II 4U does not differ too much with MX80 3U.
I don't find myself adjusting, if I was to switch between those 3 in game, those three need to be using same string & tension though.
    I mainly play Doubles.

    Have Fun !!

I heard the new BS12 Special Edition has stiff shaft and head heavier than the OG one. Maybe you could look into it?

You are correct but not as stiff as MX80

I vote for the Auraspeed 98K. I have used it a while back and i didn't like the stiffness (very stiff). Eventually i sold it and get the 90K (1st gen). The 90K is slower but a bit softer and i prefer it over 98K.
