Just curious, have anyone here professionally strung at a tournament, either as part of a stringing team or as an independent? I don't mean bringing a portable machine to a tourney you're playing in, in case you need to string your own racquets and may be a few of your friends'. I mean you're at a tournament specifically to provide a stringing service.

I want hear about your experience in that role. What sort of a tournament was it (e.g., local/community, satellite, IBF-star rated, "the big ones"), how you got into it (i.e., be invited to string for that event), how many racquets you strung in a day, how many stringers were there, what sort of machines you used, what strings you stocked, how much time it took you to string 1 racquet, what sort of maintenance you performed on your machine---if it's a multi-day tourney, etc. Basically, any tips, lessons and memories you care to share.

    TIA.
