    I want to ask something.
As WMC retired, but she is on TOP-24 ranked.
Can M'sia choose some ppl to replace her???

This is an interesting question. If the spot is for the country, then MAS can send any WS player in her stead. But if the spot is for WMC personally, then it's either her or no one.

If WMC does not wish to play in the WC, I believe that Malaysia will send Tee Jing Yi as she has showed results by winning the Vietnam Open. :)

WMC is the only Msia WS ranked in top 24. Nearest is Tee JY is #114 and Lydia #135. Julia Wong has long way to climb from #233
I just looked at the WC rules, 2 entries if ranked 25 to 150

Yes, I've looked through the regulations and the WC spots are for the players and not for their nations. I guess the entries would be complete by the time they get to 114, so not much hope for Tee JY...

Sorry, I looked thru the rules again & Tee JY & Lydia can qualify, 25 to 150, 2 entries per country. Oops, there're only 48 spots for WS, unlike 64 for MS

so if with Tee's rank exactly cannot enter.
I don't think their will give m'sia ws wildcard.
So the only hope is WMC retired, but she still has the spot.
BAM can ask BWF whether can choose anybody to replace.
I think the WC rule is XXX.
    most can 4 ppl?
then other country no hope for medal.
    should like olympic rule.

They can qualify theoretically, but 114 and 135 are a long way down... 48 spots will get filled pretty quickly.

Ok, Ok. We go back to KL Open. Arif beat TCS, CWF beat Iskandar, Goh SH beat Loh WS, Liew Daren beat Syawal.
Division 2 also no surprises so far.

I must say Goh Liu Ying, Ng Hui Lin, Woon Khe Wei, Vivian Ho is the best WD youngster player for M'sia team.
I don't think Vivian/Lim and Woon/Ng pairing is good enough.
Lim Yin Loo and Ng are not good wd player.
