Writing here about today’s result against Lakshya. Coz for me, this loss is a small win for him. He’s very new to this level. So continuously taking two top players ala Ginting and Lakshya to three games- quite giving them a scare is very promising. He was close to snatching the match away from Lakshya. Couldn’t see the whole match. Watched bits of first game and was tracking the score on bike lol. Tbh, guys I couldn’t have asked for a better result. Ek teer se do nishaane I’d say (two hits with one arrow). 1) The better player (in terms of having potential to beat other top players and going farther in the tournament) won. 2) The promising player who is just getting to learn what top level feels like stretched the game to the decider and moments away from closing the match. It’s a learning process. So for you fans @Sumanth99 and @ChildrenOfBadminton , don’t worry bros. Hopefully, he’ll get better and better and we can see both of them spearheading Indian challenge fearlessly. Cheers

May be it was wasn’t even live steamed. Saved some embarrassment for SK Before the match, I was afraid PR would be advised to underperform to boost his academy senior’s OG qualification chances. That sort of thing is the worst, trying to manipulate someone's carreer/ life. May this country never stop that moral low at system level.
