I'm going to Copenhagen next weekend, and was thinking of bringing my gear along. Does anybody know any places to play in (or around) Copenhagen?

    Mag,

There are HUNDREDS within copenhagen. I'd just ask about and i'm sure you will find one. Club standard is meant to be quite good actually. Lucky!

Yes, of course I know that Matt. But I really don't have time to ask around when I get there. I need to sort this out in advance, and reserve a court. I was hoping on tips from the Danes on the forum...

Thanks Matt, but neither Hvidovre nor Vaerlose qualify as Copenhagen clubs. :p They are also members-only clubs, if I remember correctly. I think it's the same with Kastrup-Magleby BC and Amager BC, which are close to Copenhagen.

I'm looking for a place fairly centrally, where I can rent a court for a couple of hours. I want proper badminton courts, not a gym hall with badminton nets, where they play basketball or table-tennis on the next court!

Does any of you locals know if any of these fit my requirements:

    Grøndal Centret
    Nørrebrohallen
    Østerbro Huset

I brought the gear but there simply wasn't time! But I got a couple of sessions with friends in Lund. ;)

One place that meets the criteria (central, all badminton courts and possible to rent by the hour - at least certain times of the day and in weekends) is Mariendalshallen, Mariendalsvej 21C, 2000 Frederiksberg. Phone + 45 38 86 07 08
