Place to buy badminton rackets from JB (Malaysia)?

Hi, I remember i saw the word "Hongly" before, so i purpose pass by the shop today and confirm.

Guess what!! There really alphabet on the shop plate.... but it is in Malay!!!
It is something something "Honly"...

I check with the customs in Singapore
about buying things from Malaysia
regardless of what items you buy,anything
above $50 they will charge you 4%.
They will only waive off $50 for you.
If total purchase is $150 than they will
charge you 4% of $100.My questions is
buying sports items from jb is it still worth
it.

for all high end rackets, i believe they are cheaper in singapore unless malaysia has some promo.

in BL court at Permas jaya, there is a shop inside also.
they have quite a good range of rackets,shoes,strings n shuttlecocks.
probably bcos they r located within the badminton courts.
the selection there is pretty good also.

tis place not easy to find as it is inside malay kampong.
it's in kampong plentong baru(if i remember correctly).
go down 1 straight road n go till u c a sign board pointing to BL court.
quite a wide range of rackets,i saw a couple of princes,wilsons,gosens,yonex,apacs,yang yang etc etc.

Haha BL sports is a little tricky to find... normally from taman sentosa i'll drive into permas jaya across the bridge, then go past permas jusco shopping complex along the main road. Just keep going straight and keep an eye out for the BL sports sign on the left. Turn left and enter the kampung area, then go straight. You'll pass a cemetery and i think there should be another sign to BL on the left soon after that... hope that helps haha...

the left turn into the malay kampung is also till the end of the straight road...
it's a nice place,14 courts there.
can also ask ppl to play with u if u dun have enough kakis as there r lots of ppl there...
of course,i mean at the peak time,not off peak time

 

in JB got quite some places sell laket with good prices.

one of them are located at Komtar 3 floor. but this boss a bit kuku one. due to my work place near so i always go BUT the boss's attitude still kuku. so most of the time i rather go back my hometown to re-string and look see look see lakets.

I saw a wide range of Prince racquets at JB Komtar Complex 3rd Floor yesterday. I think you need to bargain like an auntie cos it pricier than in KL.
