Anyone who visited Honly saw APACS Nanotec 700 limited? I'm interested to get them at Honly. Please comment if anyone seem them at Honly. Thanks. :confused:

I was there last weekend. Its not available. But the Fleet equivalent is available. Cant recall how much it cost.

Hope to get at least 1 to try it out... :crying: Anyway, maybe I would find myself another one there... Fleet... Hmm.. Maybe try fleet but since I'm interested in getting my first APACS racket... why dun u get the APACS Nanotec 700 limited from classic sports in singapore? i think it cost S$70 with string/grip. quite a good price imho

For those looking for APACS Nanotec 700 limited, you can forget about getting it in JB, for now. Heard from Honly uncle that the racket only found in Singapore. So must pay more for it. No chance of getting it in JB, except the Fleet version which cost RM$169 for 2 at Honly. If anyone bought it, please comment on the Fleet version. Thanks.

Like most of us have said in this thread, Yonex rackets are rather expensive in M'sia. Proace and Winex, Gosen, Yang Yang and Carlton are rather popular. I did not get the opportunity to see or try any of the SINTEC rackets when I was back in JB last year. Maybe they have started stocking them. Proace being the most popular brand. I love the proace brand not because it's cheap but the quality of the racket is amazing. I bought a Proace Titanium 9 and it's strung at 28 pounds believe you me. It's light and good for net play. Smash is awesome ONLY if you get it in the sweet spot.

Back to the location. Some other places that are not mentioned in this thread are the rather old shops near the KOMTAR shopping center. Walk out of lower level KOMTAR exit, opposite you will see an indian temple. Once out of the komtar's exit turn right and WALK straight towards the old looking run down row of shops.

Take your time walking through those old shops and you will find these shops that do stationary business but also sells badminton rackets. They do stringing as well. I believe there are a total of 2 such shops in that area. One of the shops is on a very busy road and they sell table tennis bats as well.

Check them out. They have quite a good range. Let me know if they have started selling the Armotec 500 and 700 series and how much are they.

honly

update, finally found honly at jalan sutera, was there last friday (26/12/2008). was shocked at the amount of racquets for sale! hundreds of them. very friendly boss and reasonable prices. pity the apacs AMP 95 was out of stock. would have bought it otherwise

Can anyone share how much is the taxi fare from JB customer to honly?
Is it easy to to grap a cab back from Honly?
Do Honly has company email address or website too?

planning to go one of these day.
