If she asked for your advice, you gave her good advice. If you asked her for advice.... I'd ask someone else in the future ;);):D:D

I agreed that this tourney is a bit confusing.

But it was just excuses for those who performed badly due to 5 rounds of main draw were being played in 3 days.

Like Sam mentioned earlier, if most of the PAWers had no problems with it, why was there for some of you?

One question for Uncle Loh to ponder about?

If you think your performance were affected because you have not settled after just coming back from Jakarta, why the cat sisters who came back a day or 2 later from Jakarta performed much better than you did?

Well well, human r not all the same, if others have no problem, doesn't mean that some will have no problem as well......:D

I admit that I'm within the some, whom affected due to the 5 rounds in 3 days, otherwise I won't finished with 3 bullets left. Haiya, my fault my fault, so careless! Never happen b4 for me...:p:D:D

AS I said that run & play in lower tier tournament was harder than big tournament. Lack of info forced some PAWers extra attention to some of tournament's info resources.
Actually this tournament wasn't worse if compare in Montreal & Dutch Challenge which held in a week. Running after big event made this event got less attention.

Big applaus to Louisa who just come back from covered big event Thomas & Uber Cup to faced another challenge this week. Strong performance of her to get 1st title in Madrid Challenge.
Followed by rizayosia in 2nd that also 1st podium for him/her and 3rd position was placed by the polular PAWer huangkwokhau.

    Congratulations to the winners :)
Thank's for all PAW participant, see you again in next tournament, Toulouse Challenge (depend any results/score updatng in this event) :) :)

You have forgotten we are not the same and our circumstances are different. For example, apart from other constraints, I have difficulty getting an internet connection to the BC site and having been connected, I still experienced interruptions. Frankly under such unfavourable circumstances for myself, I have done relatively well, being in the middle of the pack, not at the bottom. And despite my 'poor' placing, it still counted in WOW Team's victory over BZL's, albeit by merely 2 points.

The excuse is not that my perfomarmance was affected because of the TC trip. In fact despite the trip, we managed to play the PAW game. It is because of the timing problem that I got my BIG PAWs disqualified and this affected my result.

What I am trying to advocate is to make the PAW game easier, and consequently more enjoyable, for PAWers especially when the game is held in a different time zone with as many as 2 rounds per day.

It is rather time consuming trying to track the time and the matches in addition to choosing the PAWs, many players of whom we are unfamiliar with. I also have to check the tournament scores for periodical updates, etc. When internet connection is weak, it becomes an additional challenge since one has to wait. It becomes a real test of patience.

All these activities take a toll on one's time. It becomes more difficult if one has to spend much of the day outside of the house and away from the PC during the weekend. Frankly I just wonder how I could still manage without further disqualifications.

And that is why I said many PAWers (around 50%) chose to stay away from the Madrid Challenge because it demanded too much of one's time if one were to do justice to it. And your claim that "if most of the PAWers had no problems with it" may not be entirely correct as in the final standing, 9 PAWers were unable to complete 28 picks:

This represents a high 32% of total PAWers, not 1% or even 5%!

I would suggest that with the acquired experience thus far, we should go for the bigger tournaments that do not try to compress 2 rounds within a day like the SS and not the small ones like this Madrid Challenge.

Where the PAW is held in a time zone outside of Southeast Asia, like in Europe or the Americas, it would be of some help if the equivalent time in SE Asia is determined right from the start as part of the PAW, instead of asking PAWers to find out for themselves, thus wasting time. As Malaysia and Singapore are in the same time zone where most of the PAWers are derived, their time could be used as a reference point.

Similarly, when the PAW is held in Asia, the nearest equivalent time should be given for PAWers in Europe and the Americas, etc. This would make the PAW more transparent and on a more equal footing. With this there will be a reduction in late entries. disqualifications and an unnecessary waste of time and effort.

Well, I should say, I won it by luck....actually, each time when we play, no matter how good we are in analyzing all the paws...luck plays a bit part in it...

So, nothing to proud of...just luck is by my side this time...:D
