Given his SF performance against LCW in SO where he got more than 10 points for 2 games, he has done pretty well. I expect him to win the IO.
PG's big problem is he's mentally lazy (different from weak).Which can be fixed. He may not be able to match his younger opponents on physical speed but he can compensate by improving on his mental speed ie doing thorough homework on key opponents (except LCW because it would be wasted effort),sharpen game reading and take risks based on that.

Mentally lazy is the most hardest thing to be get rid of.
The only thing that keep me supporting kkk is he is not mentally lazy.
    his' is surrounding.

Mentally lazy is a problem that lies inside one's mind.To recover, its not just matter of time but the willingness.

i do believe gade is not that simple. He is special.
Just i dont think it'll be ok in olympic.

I am so proud of you for being 100% correct on the high-lighted portion, as why would Gade worry about LCW, when LCW will likely be out before/at 2nd round of OG 08, just like he did at WC 07.

do u all think this factor affects a player's capability of competing?....

Just thought this might be one factor for PG's performance in SO. So is Taufik....he said that he has another 'passion' now, which is his baby....

LCW is great but not sure he will do good in big event ... he still not very mature when you hear him talk

LD is good player but he has alot of stress

PG is good but he seem to lose alot of stamina since here return to badminton

Taufik .... geting old too .. but he still have alot of skill in him back hand smash...

LHN (korea) is young and fast ...

so all it's up to the match line up .....

Peter Gade will have to improve his fitness if he is to challenge for a medal... his skills are no problem, just that he is slowly losing out to age to the younger players... though i wont write him or anyone off...

If you saw the singapore open when he play agains LCW. his stamina has gone down alot . LCW was making all the play. he was just not able to attack while defencing 70% of the time

yeah, i think PG can still give most of the top players a good run for their money.

in order to beat LD or LCW, i think they would have to have a bad day at the office for that to happen, on current form.
