Too bad, malaysian WD is very close to taking the title, hopefully their young MD can present a beautiful ending for the host.

No shame at all for Malaysian WD. They played 150% from the first day. If it weren't in Malaysia with the crowd behind them, I doubt they would have achieved this result. This is the first time I see a player throwing up during a match (Thinaah towards the end of the match). That just showed they were playing their hearts out beyond their body limits. I think Malaysian fans would be proud of them!

Well, there is no moral victory for finishing 2nd badminton. Unless you are as old as AhsanHendra who fights to be there or thereabout who is okay finishing 2nd, they should really win the title. I see this as a balance match with the support of the home crowd ( you can even see they won the points and are the better pair).

Don't think HSP will win, errors are creeping in and that's a definitive end for his style of play.

They broke down in the end. Too many brutal long matches. Either reduce to 15 points or faster shuttles. Prize money still same tho. I like their games but pity after retirement joints injury. Msia wd i meant.

Amazing. Loved it that he stick to the gameplan and went for the offense even amidst the UEs. Really pleased to see the motivation

LJH beat WHY last year in this same tournament. But now WHY is in the final and LJH didn't even make it past qualification. They were both at the same level of talent just last year.Just shows CHN coaching and development must be so much better than MAS.
