Is the Titan 2 stiffer shaft with same weight 82-84g?

The weight and BP of each racket are made to order. We go with what the customers most commonly request. The target specs will be 80-85g, BP 290-300.

The current prototype has a shaft stiffness of 8.5 but it feels like 8.0-8.2. I believe this manufacturer is more conservative with their ratings or use a slightly different scale. Basically, it's on par, maybe a tad bit less stiff than the current Titan.

Please, Dan, for the love of all that's holy, do a blue one:).

Even if it's only ONE - I'll have it myself!

Mark: you read my mind. The next racket color will be Electric Blue Chrome, very similar to this:

Not sure about that color as had a pair of swimming trunks that color and when people at the beach looked at me they usually covered their eyes. :)

Then again throw some black accents on it could look sweet on a racket.

The Synergy hits extremely solid and hard. The swing is OK but not as fast as the Precision or as smooth as the Titan. It's a weird swing, the balance is not quite end loaded but not balanced either, not a great feel, not bad, just not great. But when you make contact with the shuttle, BOOM! Powerful and solid, hits the hardest of the three so far.

These three rackets have a great attribute in that there is excellent synergy between the shaft and frame. Case and point, had a few people test the rackets (they normally use 26-28lbs.) and they all could not believe the rackets were so relatively easy to use at 34lbs. with NBG98.

For me, that's the key indication of a racket/shaft with good synergy: when it's strung at a significantly higher tension (than you are used to) and it's still playable and feels good.

Is it a bigger boom than the Titan?, for me the Titan has a big boom. What about accuracy? the Titan for me is very accurate and it delivers every time.

Yes, for this Panda, the Synergy has a bigger boom than the Titan. Will have others test it to confirm. As for accuracy, it's on par, defense seems a bit weaker.

    Stay tuned...

These two 88 hole prototype rackets aren't too bad to string. Better and easier than the other ones I've tried. The racket frames are strong. They took 34lbs. quite easily. :)

Just about all the Panda rackets are migrating to 4U-5U, slightly to moderately head heavy and will be stiff to stiff+ in flex.

That seems to be the sweet spot for racket performance for most players (including Pros) these days.

Haven't seen a single pro use sth lighter than 4U, and the vast majority appears to be using 3U. Can you elaborate on where you see that trend?

Sorry, should have been more clear; should say, that's what the racket manufacturers are doing, going lighter and lighter, more head heavy (to offset the lightness). So you have a lighter racket in overall weight for better defense, yet it's head heavy so you have power too. As a result, pros are going more and more to these types of rackets because that's what's readily available.

Yes, we have been working on a few things, improved woven carbon fiber (a new, improved Revelation, much stronger and more stable) and tri-axial (XYZ axis weave) woven carbon fiber ("3D" woven carbon fiber) for both the frame and shaft.

Will post some images and some specs late tonight, thanks.
