Two frontrunners were sent packing early, Ahmad/Natsir couldn't overcome Thai combination Puavaranukroh/Taerattanachai. 5th seed Zhang N/Li YH also got the unexpected outing here, lost 17-21 / 9-21 to Kim GJ/Shin SC. A strong stamina by Kim Gi Jung who only had short rest after he completed MD qualification round that stretched into rubber games against teammates.

Oh yah PVS-NO, should be exciting since NO seems back in her top form again.
Ihsan vs Wang, I already knew the result..
Kevin/Gideon likely will go home early :/

    Yes, Ihsan lost.
Only when he wanted to stay longer to wandering along Orchard road doing some shopping while eating SGD 1 ice cream.. Could make him prob win the match.
Kevin/Gid are tired, they almost lost woulda lost last week had not Li/Liu choked so bad.
My prophecy is as good as Nostradamus' :)

Ihsan looked pretty committed in the OCBC Arena training court yesterday tho. The three youngsters were training together under the supervision of their coach before sparring with Sony afterwards. Must say that WTW looks to be in good form too as well. I'd say the win is up for grabs by both players, could be a good one.

according to recent interviews this is pretty much her retirement tour anyway. it's a shame she's hurt at this point.

Indeed, PBSI insists to keep them for next year AG since there's big gap between the Olympic Champs and their back-ups.

MAS WD Chow/Lee still chokes hard after leading by at least 5 points in the third set.
I thought they had learned the lesson after losing to Chen/Jia?
    Disappointing loss.

The reigning SGP Open Champion SDK already droven out of the tournament by Lee Dong Keun of KOR.

Hu Yun third time lucky, used his experience and narrowly edged out Sameer Verma, in a very close match.
It's a shame after HKG last year Syed Modi this year I thought its high time Sameer come out of the shadows and establish himself as the biggest IND dream. Alas

Sony was driven out by Lee Dong Kuen , not Ng Ka long. Ng Ka long beat Tommy Sugiato

Sayaka thrashed out RI pretty badly, 21-8, 21-18
Another huge chunk of points deducted, her form is uncertain, like a flash fire

Su YU Chen took a game off HBJ 7-21 OMG there must be some serious drift or preferable side advantage.
