    An Easy-3.
But I have a question a search of the forums didn't resolve so I ask for some opinions.
This machine is for an association's affiliated club members to use, so we would like to know, before it is got, should we get a toolset that for example Eagnas sells? We decided to get some spare clamps and such with the machine already.

Further, none of us are stringers so any advice is much appreciated with this :) We're gonna get someone up here to teach us but we need the machine first.

    Thanks!

I was on a quest to find a good inexpensive stringing machine and it came down to 2 machines. The Eagnas Easy-3 (crank) and the Silent Partner Swing + Badminton kit (drop-weight). The Swing had a 6pt internal support system and supposedly the quality of the machine was pretty good. It's simple and reliable. Silent Partner has great customer service and answered all my emails promptly. However, I went with the Easy-3 because it had a fixed clamp and it was a crank machine. Hopefully quality is good and no regrets. Now I'm waiting for it to be shipped to me (USA).

    From vendor:
    The Easy-3 has 1 PN-1013 swivel clamp and 1 PN-3091 floating clamp.
It also have 1 DP-507 diagonal cutter, 1 NP-500 needle nose pliers,
    1 BS-909 badminton awl, and 1 PN-3092 string mover.

The total cost is as follows:

    GROSS UNIT
    DESCRIPTION CARTON WEIGHT DIMENSION PRICE

    Easy-3 STRINGING MACHINE 1 35LBS 25.5X14.7X15.3" 299.00
SHIPPING COST (via UPS ground) 35.00

It should come with everything you need. If you want spare clamps, I've heard nothing but good stuff about the HiQua flying clamps here on the forum.

    Norm ;)

The machine should come with a tool set (if purchased brand new), which should get you well covered. If you want spare flying clamps, both Yonex and HiQua seems have good ones. HiQua seems is about US$5 cheaper than Yonex, but both should be good for the $$$.

If you are ordering from Eagnas, ask them to replace the Tennis awl with a badminton one. Also you might want to consider to get a calibrator too.

Don't worry about awl. Use dental floss to pull string through share hole.

That's an idea. And I will get a calibrator. And what is with the slingmatch between the two companies mentioned above? It doesn't look good for either of them....

I would not get a stringing calibrator. Instead, get a digital Fisherman's Scale. It's much more accurate.

Ah. And there is another idea. In that case I will leave that for the time being. Thanks again for the suggestions.
