Olympic Flag Bearers

    Does anyone know how many badminton players will carry the flag for their nation at opening ceremony?

    I know Lee Chong Wei (Malaysia), Derek Wong (Singapore) and Kate Foo Kune (Mauritius) will carry the flag. Do you know of anyone else??

    Isn't Carolina Marin also a flag bearer? Or is it Nadal?

    For Spain, it is Nadal. His record is much above Marin.

    So what does it mean when the AFP news reported that 'Marin will follow Nadal as Spain s flag bearer'?

    He definitely looked tense, it might affect his performance. LCW's always looked like he's having butterflies in his stomach in the major events.
