June 23: INDONESIA and Denmark have entered their top players for the the Malaysia Open in Kuantan on June 29-July 4 and this will ensure that the Championships will be the most exciting. Indonesia are sending their top two players Sony Dwi Kuncoro and Taufik Hidayat for the singles and Trikus Heryanto-Sigit Budiarto and Luluk Hadiyanto-Alven Yulianto for the doubles. They have also included a scratch pair, Candra Wijaya-Flandy Limpele although both players are in the running for a place in the Athens Olympics with their regular partners. Candra's regular partner is Halim Haryanto while Flandy partners Eng Hian.

The Danes, on their part, have included Peter Gade Charistensen, Kenneth Jonassen, Anders Boesen, Niels Christian Kaldau and Peter Rasmussen, their top five players, and this will make the men's singles crown one of the toughest to win. Christensen and Jonassen have qualified for the Olympics.
