I totally agree... hope i get to see it in real life soon...

And I think the MP100 has been discontinued in the US as well. My friend went to buy a racket today and they had their last 2 MP100. They said they are not gonna get anymore.

It's probably just a natural progression to replace the MP line in time, I had thought that with more models in the AT lineup it might be the successor but I don't think so now. There would probably be a new range in the next 1-2 years once the phase out the MP line altogether.

Then again I might be totally wrong!

oh i mean that the at700 "RRP" is about 150 isn't it? just most people sell for less obviously to entice us. therefore, the at-800 and at-700 "should" be very silimilarly priced.

Not any more Sheldon, the AT700 was only priced at £150 for about 1-2 months after it's initial release. It then went to £135 in some shops and then directly to £120 and has been at that price for about the last 6 months or so.

I would think the AT800's would be spot on the £150 marker and not far off with it being the top of the range and all.

I was thinking the same thing; Yonex has their secret plans ;)
So, we can guess the racket's color in the future by looking at the shoes :D

I just noticed that Mr. Crazy Sho Sasaki of Japan was wearing the SHB 98MX back in November of last year at the Scottish Open. Perhaps Ants will have a better idea of when they were released in Asia.

As for the new Yonex VeryCool Polo shirts, to my astonishment I managed to buy one of each from my local non-specialised sports shop at half-price (£30); I think a mistake must have been made with the codes; this shop was selling the Yonex MP100 for £150, and is still selling the mp99 for about that price. In any case, I now have two of these shirts for about the same price it would have cost for one from the cheapest UK store on the net - Central Sports. Perhaps if I ordered an AT-800 from this same store, they would offer me it at the price of the AT-300 :D.

The white, grey and black shirt is very cool indeed (I can post pics later); it has two layers of a polyester mesh which "have ultraviolet and infrared filtering functions. Helping to reduce heat build-up during physical activity by intercepting 96% of UV radiation and 81% of IR radiation..." I expect that it will improve my game performance by 23.2% and my desirability to female players by 27%. ;)
Either Yonex are taking the pee with the grand-sounding names and essentially meaningless statistics included in their advertising or they have a very cynical view of a customer's motivation to buy badminton equipment.

Hey...what happened to my parody of the legal small print found at the end of advertisements (usually for loans)? Your house and everything you ever cherished may be in Jeopardy if you do not keep up regular payments. In the event of suicide, we reserve the right to seek reparation in the afterlife (if any, as stated in clause 24b ii). All things herein expressed are meaningless unless it is in the financial interest of Ynexfan2003 Industries.

You write a song like Nirvana's "Something in the Way".

I'll post pics of the new shirts in 20mins (after I have some coffee and breakfast).
The lens of the digital camera I have borrowed is not very fast, so I need to set up some bright lights.

That's one of the longest 20mins I've seen, almost as good as the "I'll be at the venue in a minute, I'm just round the corner"(still waiting 45 minutes later)

Apologies for the delay and the image quality; the digital cam I borrowed is a brandless piece of kak.

That wasn't my fault; my taxi driver must have taken the wrong turn. In fact, whenever I am late, it's always the taxi driver's fault.

This is the W-1402VC; what looks like grey on the pic is actually a very fine white mesh, behind which is a dark grey thicker mesh.
If anyone is interested in buying the shirts, let me know. I should be able to get them at a discount and within two days of ordering. One of them is still priced at £55 on the Central Sports website, and the other is not yet available to order.
