Here's a plot of middle finger size (vertical) vs. grip size (horizontal.) The data is all over the plots. A weak terndline shows that the smaller the finger size, the larger the grip that player use. Ironic isn't it? Note the large deviation of the data points from the trendline, which means it's most likely noise and not statistically significant. Someone can calculate the r^2 value to verify.

I used to play with small grips. When using YY racquets the largest grip size would be 4. I may be mistaken since I have not been using YY racquets for a long time years, I believe there were grips size of 4.5/5. I usually go for the smallest grips available. 1) 8.5 cm 2) 21 cm 3) 9 cm 4) Male 5) 4 years with former international level players 6) Social level (would love to play at Kwun's level again) 7) Played singles, doubles and mixed doubles
Thanks Viver. Which discipline would you say was your main one whilst learning the game under a coach, singles or doubles? Can other BF'ers provide their data as well? The larger the dataset, the more meaningful the theories that can be generated. Thanks in advance
Both singles and doubles, though I preferred singles in those days. In the club where the training was most intense, there were no girls and therefore no mixed, though we were made aware some differences. I later learned a bit more about mixed doubles with a Chinese lady player, now in Australia.
