New Scoring Format

    You would have more games to try and catch up if you lost the first game.
    Then again some peoople may argue that you should concentrate more in the first few points or have a better warming up period!

    No personal critiscism meant, just the alternative point of view.

    Good point Cheung. I'm probably the least bother by the 5x7 system than most of you. It is definely a shorter game, maybe a 5x9 for men is a better system. I for one will put my judgement on hold for the 5x7 until I see it in action. No one likes changes but when major tournament cancel here and there due to lack of sponsorships, than something has to give.

    I like it, but I'm more used to the original format.
    The new format definitely makes for a faster shorter game... the only thing is I feel bad for the player that wins the first two sets, and looses the match, because his opponent caught a second wind, and fought back and won the last 3 sets to take the match... *sigh*
    I know this, because I lost my match this way last week. lol
    oh well...
