    Only works for strings .68 mm and below.

    is that a 3D printed side support?

    is it strong enough?

    Printed side supports are fine as long as you print with the right orientation, ie flat and not vertical. My first ones were printed vertically and one blew apart. I printed side, top and bottom supports in abs. Working well so far.
