Anybody can share their playing experience with MX90 compare to MXJJS especially when playing double? I have read in other thread, many still adapting to MX90.

I normally play double. The gameplay is always drives and flat rallies.
I am the player that excel in front court and sometimes like to kill the play with power smash.

Hopefully I can decide which one to choose before year end :)
This is the first time I want to use Victor racket. My current racket is VT80 and Arc11 strung @29lbs with NBG99.

The general view is that they're basically the same racket. One reason I can think of for this is because it's awkward for other top players to play with a racket named after JJS. The only player that would play with the racket would be LYD, but that's in honour of their career. So for players who don't want to use the MX80 (too stiff) nor the MXJJS (awkward), the MX90 is a good compromise. One could argue that the Koreans should honour their star player, but if you were in their position, would you? I know I wouldn't.

Non-Korean players definitely wouldn't want to use the MXJJS either.

    So then came the MX90.

Doesn't look like he's using that during the Superseries Finals.

Could you share more details of your opinion about MX JJS? I'd like to know what you didn't like since I'm thinking about to get a MX JJS which has been praised a lot here.

Sorry I don't have first hand experience with it. I'm getting the MX80 which is supposed to be stiffer. I'll do a review of a 4U MX80 vs. VT80 when I get them and then compare them to my go-to AT900T.

I promised to choose between MX-JJS or MX90 before year end and I have decided to choose MX-JJS. I just feel tempted with JJS paint job. Furthermore the dealer has no MX90 stock.

This is the first time I will be using Victor racket. Hopefully the stringer can finish their job soon so I can test during tomorrow night session.

    Cheers!

Both r excellent rackets, either way u won't regret it. I must concur, MX-JJS is more eye-candy than MX-90. No other Victor rackets come close, except maybe the upcoming TK-9ooo ; )

TBH , the MX-90 has a better look than JJS. More futuristic , technologically based decals. White and Black scheme , reminds me of Cytus. Also , matching the string and the grip color is easier as it is only colored black and white.

MX-JJS looks plain Black and Orange , you can't see the design prints early on. Additionally , the paint on top of the frame and at the bottom is not equal . I know they really did it that way , but i don't like it. Matching this with matching strings and grips is hard , as it is colored mostly orange. Add an orange grip and it will look like a carrot.

Looks fierce with the black string/grip though :)

TK9000 gives me an idea of a FB / MX90 Hybrid. I dont like it :(

Looking at it now, it does look like carrot...lol. Personal taste n preference aside, it works well for most ppl. I concur bout ur view of TK-9ooo, it does remind me of FB. One thing for sure, it will definitely outlast the FB.

The safest string to match a racket is always white....

I've thought about these rackets so much since my reviews.

For the record, they are not the same racket with a different paint job. They are made of different materials. But the specs are so close, except for the width of the shaft, which in turn changes the flex in the racket. I do feel the graphene in JJS is a stronger material but MX90 is certainly stiff enough and so close to JJS.

There is a thought that as they are so close in feel it is almost down to your colour preferences.

From what i see MX JJS will be phasing out in year 2014 onwards, with the coming of jetspeed series, replacing JJS totally.

The jetspeed is replacing the JJS? I thought the meteor and jetspeed were different in the spec range.

Juz a minor correction...JJS is not black...its carbon fibre and look even more futuristic then a white/black scheme which has grown too common on so many models of racquets.....u gotta see an actual JJS to appreciate the looks...anyway 1 man's meat is another man's poison but im pretty sure there are many ppl who really like JJS color scheme, which is easily 1 of my all time fav
