Seems a lot of players were unlucky... i can't remember seeing so many walkovers. Lee Hyo Jung went out of the women's and mixed, Mette Schjoldager out of the mixed and women's, Yao Jie out of the women's singles, and Chan Chong Ming most regrettably in the men's... not to mention there were at least 4 walkovers from lower ranked pairs as well. Oh, and Kenneth having to withdraw early from the tournament. sighh... what's been going on??
probably due to the tough competitions just before the WC. i think a lot of players were strained during the KO and HKO leading up to WC.
