during the whole tournament i estimated 60% of all the players used MP99.
hmm,why is that?
i remember doing a count for 2003 WC, similar percentage too
It's just a great racket. It's one of the few rackets that seems equally popular with the men and the women players.
The fact that these players could use any racket out there and they still choose the MP99 shows what a great racket it is. I'm sure there is some pressure from the sponsors to use the latest (and most expensive) rackets like the Armotecs, but if they think an older racket will suit them more, they'll stick with it. KDM was still using the Ti-10, and that is about 7 years old now.
I wonder what the pros will think of the new NS7000?
ya martin lunggard is still using a iso ti swingpower too.
i also using MP 99
used in ms, ws, md, wd, and xd as well.
Yep! in WD final between the 2 chinese pairs, 3 of them were using MP99!
I did not see other match with any similar type racquets other than MP99.
Do you guys remember when it first came out? I only bought mine in 2002.
Well, it's been like that for past a year at least. A sea of yellow rackets.
Everyone likes it
