Is there any kind of luck to get the latvia open streaming somewhere? I know it's a low grade tournamenent, but the finals can be interesting.
Spanish IC 2018 MD Final is featuring Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Frederik Colberg vs reunited Bodin Isara/Maneepong Jongjit. TS Link : https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...0DCE8F-8D14-4184-90FE-5D45FF12A4BE&d=20180617 Live Streaming at BEC Channel:
I think they let it to be a thing in the past. Jongjit just laughs when asked about that incident during Thomas Uber Cup 2018, where he revealed that he will be partnering with Bodin again as a pro pair.
Both players have just retired from national team IIRC someone said earlier @ TUC's thread. So, the chance for them to play together as full professional players from now on. Their past incident is just the old time which they got learned a lot from there. They should let it go and forgive each other to continue their badminton career.
Don't know where to post this but BWF Bid Book stated that Sudirman Cup will follow TUC format starting from 2021. So those Continental Mixed Team Championships will have "extra purpose" as qualification events.
Kinda, but not really LOL But it is quite a big change actually, because now, I believe we will have much more country participants in the tournament Having only 12 teams participate for 8 days is not very satisfying, but to maintain having different level is just stupid if we already have the So most probably, BWF will extend it into 16 teams (at the very least) The only concern is still about the teams that denies their place (like in this year TUC). I was actually imagining a new system with semi relegation-promotion system (but only for the 2 highest level). The position for the 2nd and 3rd level (and beyond) determined by ranking So if a country denies their place, they should be relegated to the 2nd level for the next tournament (besides not participating the one that they deny). That might prevent some withdrawal But maybe, the state of Sudirman Cup with 16 teams only can increase the prestige to avoid withdrawal, especially that Sudirman Cup also has less players/staffs to be sent, compared to TUC. But still, TUC is still regarded a bit higher than Sudirman, and yet some teams still deny their spot Lets just hope BWF can market this event into sort of the highest event in badminton teams, so that the prestige is so high that we dont have much withdrawal I really wonder what the schedule will be with 16 teams only though
Actually there is one way to prevent withdrawal in the TUC format: If you decline TUC quota but competed in continental qualification = Got fined (say $5000) lol Just follow Netherlands if they thought qualifying to team major events is not worth it. Can't blame then though, the team events points system is somewhat unfair and that might be the problem
Uh oh, I can smell a 2-3 lose for MAS. In other news, JPN and CHN reached SF, and INA likely to do so.
