It looks that way to you ?

Verbally, there are some changes and in time to come,

we probably know what they are :D

But all these are supposedly to be what ms wants so I don't see any problem

and I certainly hope so :)

As for sparing I think it's as usual minus hafiz only :)

Going pro, both out there should loose out more than if they stay in,

provided of course the conditions are good :D

Those who never seem to appreciate MS & LCW

    .
    Usually, to achieve a goal we follow these 3 steps;
Step 1. Dream about an achievement
Step 2. Formulate a plan of action to make the dream come true
Step 3. Work hard as formulated in Step 2

Looks like MS and LCW are the only ones paying attention to Step 3. Others are only involved in Step 1 (dreaming) and Step 2 (talk and talk and talk).

BAM's CTC members should be out there at the training venue (not just sitting in their office dreaming and talking).

Yeah, the star article is the High Performance Director comments. The malay language press wrote meet Ng CC & James S after CNY. THe reporters are not getting anything out of Misbun, so they go here & there to ask.;)

Misbun -- it's not to late to get out from the status quo

Here's what I think Misbun should do.

He should refuse to train LCW. IMO, LCW doesn't really need any more badminton training; he can probably train other players by now. LCW needs someone to get his head around to his fear of failure where LD is concerned -- that's all. He needs to have the stillness of mind, the head steady and the ability to get into his "bubble." He doesn't need MS for that.

What MS should be doing, is making it known that his services as a consultant and elite group coach or head coach are available to other countries. Like, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, India.

    Seriously. Very seriously.

Because if BAM or NSC or the Ministry of Sports don't really value his inputs, and think they just need to use him to keep LCW going for OG2012, then that is a complete waste of what a man like Misbun can bring to the table.

At least the game of badminton will benefit much more if he were a coach in another country. I am sure other countries will be a thousand times more grateful and appreciative of the services of such a person. And Misbun himself will find something much more meaningful and personally rewarding to do. And, he will be far, far away from those jokers.

Better for everyone they remain in their office. Imagine the damage they will cause if they get actually involved with the training!

Don't worry cobalt, I know your concern :)

misbun being a not so demanding person unlike some of us, particularly me,

who only wants what is best for him to continue his coaching, won't ask for more than necessary :)

more the more will some take advantage of MS... his nature is what people admire of him, me no exception... whatever it is, I wish him and LCW the best of luck... I'm still calculating whether to visit OLY 2012 for badminton only... ah, the temptation vs the nags from various corners of my life... *die*:D

hehe... not to mention the one chasing LCW at the airport trying to get his feedback on the recent KO SSP lost... I approve of how LCW answered cos if it's me, I'll did the same... just look at the news after that... the words used, my oh my... there are better words to pick but they just love to sound bitter, the media...

There's 2 very different slant Era, one saying LCW still raring to go, another press saying LCW looked 'sugul'(sad). All that from same interview at the airport, hahaha.

Want love letters, pineapple tarts so you wouldnt 'die'?:p:D

All is well & good, except you forgot 1 point cobalt. If Misbun go, his wife & younger kids how? If the family follow, can Misbun's wife get good medical attention overseas, can she cope with coolllddd winters?
Misbun's wife has been in & out of hospital, though she had kidney transplant last year.

Now that the dust has settled, is it true that MS only coaches LCW till London Olympics 2012?

On the word "only", just the other day a friend emailed me some very interesting meanings of ONLY such as:

    1. MS only coaches LCW.
    2. MS coaches only LCW.
    3. MS coaches LCW only.
    4. Only MS coaches LCW.
    5. LCW is coached by MS only.
    6. Only LCW is coached by MS.
    7. LCW is coached only by MS.
    8. LCW only is coached by MS.

Now I wonder which of the above applies to MS? :D:D:D
