We have three representatives who are capable of securing a medal in each category for badminton.

With Lee Chong Wei around, a silver medal is at least guaranteed to bring Malaysia's first medal of the competition.

Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong can reach at least the semifinals or play-offs if they get their act together and overcome the Koreans..I do not see why cant they go all out to achieve this...another medal prospect for Malaysia probably a bronze

A new pair from a category which was traditionally not the strength of Malaysian badminton. Chan/Goh can reach the semis too to bag the bronze. They need to work hard and be well prepared when facing Danish pairs and the Chinese. somehow the Chinese pairs have no worries about beating far east players.

In total, Malaysia this year could potentially better their medal tally record from the previous outings by adding one more medal from the XD category. It's after all a big leap for Malaysian sport in the Olympics. I believe it can happen

Don't be too sure that LCW will win at least a silver medal. CL has a reasonable chance of beating LCW in the semi's.

Also, if Chen Jin loses to Lin Dan in the semi final match, I don't think it'll affect his mental state of mind that much because everybody expects him to lose anyways. But if LCW loses to Chen Long in the semi final match, he will feel devastated afterwards. LCW may not be fully prepared when he faces Chen Jin in the Bronze medal match. If this is the case, he may finish without a medal.

Malaysia always only rely on badminton event. How about the other event anyway, can't they able to achieve any medal?
If only squash include in Olympic, there is guarantee a 'gold' medal and it will be "you know who"...
