yup...rm42 for wecan red version is satisfying enough.. btw rcl pearl is also good..better than wecan but of coz a bit expensive...rm54 if im not mistaken
What about Aeroplane Black Lable? Any comment? Or what's the most popular shuttle available in Penang, Malaysia?
Sealion, my favourite since 90s during school time. Currently stick with C1101 premier instead of gold because both price are same at my place(klang). i surprisingly realise the shuttlecock last for three games in once upon a time(soft and hard hitting mix). Other days the shuttlecock easily stay fine for two games in terms of flight.
hi guys. I just started playing badminton (i've played other racket sports b4) and i was wondering what sort of shuttlecocks should i buy? I don't really want to buy expensive ones coz i'm still a newbie. For regular players, i went to this site http://www.lazada.com.my/shuttlecocks/ coz they have promos and discounts so i was wondering if someone could recommend which brand/good deal should i get? they have Dunlop, Carlton etc etc. Thanks for the help!
Coming from north region, rcl no1 blue color tube is still the most trusted cock in our town for baddy...hehe
shuttlecocks ive used so far and their rankings: 1. protech world class (very good durability and flight consistency. can easily last 2-3 sets each shuttle) 2. rcl pearl/platinum gold/rsl classic tourney (bit lower durability but still good consistency. 2 sets maximum per shuttle) 3. protech masterpiece/rsl gold (durabilty is not consistent. some are good while others can be very poor. one shuttle usually last 1-1.5 set and seldom finish the 2nd set. flight consistency is good though. rsl gold is the better choice since it is cheaper) 4. wecan red/rsl silver (the wecan have good durabilty and better than rsl silver and even masterpiece. can last 2 sets per shuttle but poor flight consistency)
i want to try the sealion c1101...white or gold?? any recommendation? some are saying gold is better..but still there is a few saying white is better..if it stays like this then i'll be trying the gold one
The quality and durable of protech world class drop like hell, 90% of the user keep complaining... and since protech has change the manufacturer.... quality become worst... i had change to RCL black silver recently and is far better than protech world class...
hurmm..maybe i was lucky...ive tried the sealion c1101 gold recently...very good i can say..same experience using the world class and even cheaper than masterpiece...having said that, i havent finish the tube yet...but so far i like it very much..if this stays on like this i might just be switching to the sealion...maybe u can try it too..rcl black silver the cheapest i can find is RM59..this sealion c1101 about RM53...thx for sharing ur experience btw..
Anyone knows what is the 2012 Official retail price for Aerosensa 30/40/50? I heard it jumped this year due to lousy rm-yen exchange rate
Yonex sort of like always increasing the price. I have to say I hate Sunrise (Yonex distributor) for keeping increasing the price of Yonex string, they are like monopoly in this market. But nothing much I can do..coz Yonex string is still one of the best in the market. But for shuttles, there are a few shuttles out there as good as their AS30 with cheaper price. Example, RCL Black Silver.
Sealion white and gold, same. The seller claim that white speed is fastest than gold. That all. But I don't feel any diff.
SeaLion can last 2 games where feather getting soft and broken. Protect World Class, proven can really last longer. 7 games [2 hours] only use 2.5 shuttles. The first 2 shuttles feather still intact just that getting soft but flying still ok. Keep it for next warming. Each shuttle can last for 2.5 to 3 games. 3rd shuttle i keep it for next round. No more RSL GOLD and SeaLion unless no choice.
Almost all shuttlecocks will have different quality depending on batches. A shop owner told me that it depends on the season or weather. When it is dry season, the quality tends to drop. As for me, no longer going to Protech Masterpiece. The quality really sucks nowadays. As for world class, my group said that it is heavier and faster flight compared to the rest hence they do not prefer it as well... Protech Platinum is good and lasting but price above RM60... Changing to RSL Classic and it is good... but also has batch quality problem. Tried Kumpoo Match Point 88 and 99. I can say both also have the same kind of problem, which the feathers tend to come off easily (not the stem) and the feathers with the stem will get soft and out of shape easily... not going back to this.
This remind me what Paul Stewart had mention before. http://badminton-coach.co.uk/discussion-forum/beginners-general-qa/shuttles/ Those cheapo shuttle may too slow. I agree that World Class a bit heavier but think about it again, I can feel the shuttle and with better control. Light shuttle sometime too slippery. Normally those made by Duck feather and not durable.
