Looking for recommendations on a new racket once my last NF 800 dies. As much as I love these two rackets (800 3u and 800LT) the durability on the Nanoflare line for me personally has been really costly. Broken two this year (on mishits during smashing, the frame had been clashed once or twice before maybe a month before each break). This has been my experience with them so far, I love them though.

I like the stiffness of these rackets, they're by no means the stiffest but I like the feel and responsiveness I get from them.

I'm looking for a speed type racket, but I'm open to any racket as long as the stiffness is around the same. Will preface by saying I do not like any rackets with free core (too soft feeling? kinda spongy).

Budget is about the same as NF800 pricing.

the black and gold js10 felt similarly stiff for me, it doesnt have free core and should be priced similarly to the nf800

It is different feel, but I like the 800 Pro, if you’re looking at stiffness and speed. You can try some racket protection tape from 9-3 it will add some head weight but still way faster than my Astrox, and I have had 2 pretty hard clashes since I got it with no adverse effects the protective tape really did its job.

I'll check it out. What about the JS 12?

I would, but I would prefer not another nanoflare at the moment... replacing them is getting too expensive.

How is the 900 moon? (i.e. how stiff is it, comparable rackets, feel, power?)

Been looking all over for reviews but they're not in English. Seems interesting and the paint job is fire.

i didn’t click with the 3u and 4u moon as i felt it was too stiff with lack of head weight, i was more comfortable with 4u sun. i would say 3u 800 is similar to moon(more stiff n less head weight) and less similar to sun (more flex n head weight)
