Hi All, I'm due to move to Shanghai in a couple of weeks. I will initially be living near Shan Xi Nan Metro station. Can anyone tell me of any clubs which not very far from the area (or from Minghang) which are of a reasonable level (play competitively) and with good courts? I can only speak slightly above beginner level Chinese so a place which is 'foreigner friendly' would be good (am happy if no one speaks English as long as they don't mind my silence! ). Many thanks. Hi, I have found a club. I actually found a few but it took me a while to find one with good courts and good level (there are soooo many clubs in Shanghai!). I play at a club called 'You You' which plays at You You middle school (Monday/Thursday: (near Yang Gang nan lu metro station) and Qing Liu Middel school (Tuesday/Saturday: Yao Hua lu metro station) in Pudong. At both places the courts are good and the level is good (most advanced night is Saturdays). The organiser's name is Dai Dai who's WeeChat is dz8800 (only speaks Chinese). May be see you there.
